Agricultural Greenhouse Gases Program – Request for Proposal

This is a Request for Proposal (RFP) for the Agricultural Greenhouse Gases Program (AGGP), which represents Canada’s initial commitment to Global Research Alliance (GRA).

The GRA is an international network that was launched on December 16, 2009 at the UN climate change conference in Copenhagen, Denmark. GRA is centered on helping reduce the emissions intensity of agricultural production and increasing its potential for soil carbon sequestration thereby contributing to overall mitigation efforts.

The AGGP is a five year program being delivered by Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada (AAFC). AGGP will focus on both science and knowledge creation, and technology transfer to help Canadian farmers mitigate greenhouse gas emissions.
